What is my Watchlist?

Watchlist is the new, personalized home for all of the shows and movies you want to watch on Hulu. It keeps track of everything you watch, and organizes your Watchlist based on how, when, and where you watch Hulu. 

 

 

How do I add something to my Watchlist?

Watchlist supports your Hulu viewing habits. Simply start watching your favorite show or movie, and your Watchlist will automatically keep track of where you are. You can also manually add a movie, episode, show, or clip to your Watchlist by tapping on the image and selecting the Watchlist button.

 

 

How do I search for videos?

The magnifying glass icon  is located at the top-right of the app. Tap there to begin searching. 

 

 

Where is my Watch History?

Your History hasn't gone too far! To reach your History, begin by opening the Navigation bar by tapping the menu  button in the upper left corner of the home screen. Then, just tap the gear  icon next to your name to access and edit your History. 

 

 

How do I turn on/off Autoplay?

To change your settings, such as Autoplay, begin by tapping the menu  button in the upper left corner of the browse window. Then, tap the gear  icon next to your name to open your Settings. From here, you can toggle Auto-Play on/off and also clear your temporary image cache.

 

 

How do I turn on/off Closed Captions?

To change your Closed Captions settings, just tap on the gear  wheel icon during video playback to open the video settings. 

 

 

Where do I go to Logout?

First, access the Navigation bar by pressing the menu  button in the upper left corner of the home screen. Then just tap the gear  icon next to your name to Log Out and access other Settings.

 

 

How do I use Handoff with Hulu?

A recent addition to the Hulu app enabled the ability to access Apple's Handoff feature. To use Handoff with Hulu, your devices will need to meet the following requirements: 

  • iOS device running 8.1 or above
  • Mac device running OS X Yosemite or above
  • Both devices are using the same iCloud account
  • Both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  • Both devices have Bluetooth enabled

When transitioning from Hulu on one device to another, you'll see the Hulu icon at the bottom left of your iOS lock screen or your Mac dock. To learn more about Handoff, visit Apple's Support site
